Healthy Banana & Raspberry Ice Cream

They do say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomarch… 

So as Valentines day is coming up I thought I would share a little recipe for a simple all natural ice cream that’s easy to whip up in no time. This deliciously creamy sorbet only uses two ingredients and they are both fruit, so you can indulge without the guilt! 


You will need:

2 bananas (over ripe are best)

100g of frozen raspberries 

Cut the bananas into slices and place in a container, put into the freezer the night before you want to serve so they are nicely frozen. 

Once frozen place into a food blender with the raspberries and blend for about a minute. Scoop out and serve with fresh fruit or runny honey.


I read about this recipe in Deliciously Ella’s book, and love how easy and quick it is. 

I find it a great way to use up old bananas that are going a little black, I always try to keep a few cut up in the freezer for when I get a sweet craving. 

So who needs roses & chocolate when you have ice cream that looks this good?
