Chanel Couture Spring 2015

The Chanel catwalk theme was like something out of your most beautiful dreams, a futuristic floral wonderland full of blooming bouquets & exotic plants. As ever the models showcases multicoloured tweeds, a trademark Chanel style in ever evolving jackets and skirts. The crop to remained a staple while the waist was dropped on skirts to reveal plenty of mid drift.
I just adore the detailing in the Chanel shows, from embroidered flowers and jewels to the woven fabrics every detail is so perfect and there isn't a colour that goes unused.

DIY | Vintage Velvet Bow tutorial

Last month I was lusting over some really cute bows in every colour & print imaginable in American Apparel. I thought I'd try making one myself in this vintage-style velvety material I found a scrap of in my house. I chose to attach a bobble instead of a clip so I could wear it in a bun or high ponytail. I love how it instantly gives my hair style a quirky update.

Here's how I did it ...

I love a brand that promotes creativity and originality so I thought I'd share with you some recent items from companies that I love at the moment.
This quirky tartan co-ord set is from Mod Dolly, an online boutique that sell handmade garments designed and sewn in their London based studio.

Handmade Polka Dot Knickers | Craft Kit by The Makery

This has got to be one of my favourite Christmas presents I received this year.
My mum bought me this DIY polka dot knickers craft kit by The Makery and when I opened it on Christmas day I couldn't wait to get crafting.

A Week in NYC | Statue of Liberty, Pancakes and the Best Places to go Shopping

As you may or may not know last month I headed on the trip of a lifetime to New York City with my family and Boyfriend. In my last post I took you along with me as I relived the first couple of days there, exploring Central Park, going up the Empire and the Rock and buying half of the beauty floor in Macy's. Read it here. I was in the city for a total of 4 days so here's what I got up to on the rest of my trip to NYC!
